The Kokinshu

I was wondering if anyone else here enjoyed reading The Kokinshu.  I love it so much, I do weekly postings of it's many different poems!  There are lots of poems by Ono no Komachi.  She is one of my favorite Japanese poets!
For those of you not familiar with The Kokinshu, I highly recommend it!  It's a book full of poems from the Heian Period and they're great!
Here are a few of my favorites that I've posted on my journal:

At my lonely home
snow falls and lies so thickly
that the path is gone
for there is no visitor
to tread his way to my door.

as the years stream by
my own life passes from me
still I am renewed
when I but see the blossoms
my heart's sorrows disapear

Loving so deeply, my body
has wasted to a mere shadow;
yet even this insubstantial
likeness cannot cling to him.

Though I am resigned to my sad fate,
I cannot vanish from our world
-this world in which I
must live on in wretched misery.

It is because my yearning heart
has wandered to my love in daydreams,
that it does not know that my body is lost in darkness.
